  3. Saturday Farmers Market, Four Seasons Markets

    Four Seasons Markets was established to develop and manage European style markets where ranchers, farmers, specialty food producers and artisanal craftsmen can interact with customers in a colorful, exciting, family friendly atmosphere that mimics the village markets popular throughout Europe. Shop the market every Saturday, then cool off while perusing the galleries. Farmers Market will take place at the Irving Arts Center south parking lot.

    Readers of teen and tween literature, hold on to your bookmarks! Seventy-six of the nation's best and newest Young Adult and Middle Grade authors are coming to the North Texas Teen Book Festival, including Dav Pilkey (Captain Underpants series), Angela Thomas (The Hate U Give), Cassandra Clare (Mortal Instruments series), Leigh Bardugo (Language of Thorns), Jenny Han (Always and Forever, Lara Jean), Gayle Forman (I Have Lost My Way), and Jennifer and Matthew Holm (Babymouse series). Participate in panel discussions, cutting-edge publisher events and book signings. Wristbands required for select signing lines and publisher events. Sponsored by the City of Irving and Friends of the Irving Public Library.

  1. Earth Day Texas - Fair Park

    Join Irving’s Be Green team at Earth Day Texas, an annual free three-day festival that seeks to elevate environmental awareness in North Texas. Through exhibits, entertainment and education for all ages, the community is inspired to lead a more sustainable lifestyle. Concessions will include everything from organic and vegan food options to favorite festival treats. Attendees additionally are encouraged to take the train (TRE/DART) to Fair Park.
