Aquatics

  1. Red Cross Lifeguard Class

    April 12, 2018 - April 15, 2018 @ North Lake Natatorium

    Want to learn skills that will help you save lives? Become a certified lifeguard.

    Prerequisite: Minimum age 15. Successful skills test, which includes 300-yard continuous swim; a 10-pound brick retrieval from 7 to 10 feet depth of water followed by a 20-yard return carrying the brick; and treading water for two minutes without using hands. Test must be completed one week before class or must have instructor approval.

    Successful completion of the course will result in American Red Cross Life Guard/First Aid, CPR-Professional Rescuer, and AED certifications.

  3. Saturday Farmers Market, Four Seasons Markets

    Four Seasons Markets was established to develop and manage European style markets where ranchers, farmers, specialty food producers and artisanal craftsmen can interact with customers in a colorful, exciting, family friendly atmosphere that mimics the village markets popular throughout Europe.     Join us for an outdoor party to celebrate Spring. This event will feature carnival games, concessions and a bounce house. Admission is free, but tickets are needed to play games. Carnival tickets are 25 cents each or five for $1. Concessions items will be on sale; cash only. Please register by April 4. This event is hosted by Lee Park and Northwest Park Recreation Centers.
